The objective of the handbook is to expose students for the first time to the topics, skills, and organization of the test in an informal environment in Books 1 and 2 and a more rigorous environment in Book 3. These include the Text Book, the images, the audio tracks, the songs, the videos, practice activities, and program assessments. Students have access to materials, through their computer, tablet, or cellular devices, which allow them to develop their language skills in an interactive way and with immediate feedback. Among the audiovisual materials are: regional presentations, art and music videos, and review videos. These audiovisuals provide visual and instructional support for students so that they can practice and review vocabulary, comprehension skills, and grammar concepts they study in each module. Teacher SmartCenter TM All the components in the Student Smart Center are included in the digital tool plus integrated access to the lessons in the Teacher’s Edition, the answers keys, skills list, and other resources designed to facilitate differentiated instruction.
