Yes, I remember last week’s game. It was awful.
Dad:
Last week you were just too hungry to win. Your body didn’t have
enough fuel, and you ran out of gas.
Narrator 1:
Raúl smiled weakly. He knew his dad had a point.
Raúl:
You make me sound like a machine.
Dad:
Your body is like a machine.
Narrator 2:
Raúl pictured himself hitting a home run.
Raúl:
You’re right, Dad. And this is one game I want to have enough fuel for!
Narrator 2:
Raúl ate a good breakfast. Then he rushed out the door.
