at all language proficiency levels! In addition to teaching
strategies such as universal access, cooperative learning, and
translanguaging, every module provides targeted instruction and
activities for students at three specific levels:
Level I: Students have access to essential communication and
cultural concepts as they engage in critical thinking skills.
Level II: Students achieve more advanced access to the language
and their performance reflects the use of higher-order thinking
skills.
Level III: Students demonstrate more complex comprehension and
command of the language, and their performance reflects problem-
solving strategies as they apply higher-order thinking skills.
