OBJECTIVES
• Improve overall pedagogical and didactic knowledge related to teaching Spanish
in the United States.
• Think critically about methodological principles applicable to these teachings in
different educational contexts and at different levels.
•Understand, analyze, and expand didactic teaching proposals in accordance
with the different standards and applicable measures of teaching Spanish in the
United States.
•Understand the different models of integrating Spanish language content into the
classroom, build out new examples of programming, and develop new didactic
proposals.
• Support the coordination and integration of historic, artistic, social, and cultural
components into the teaching of Spanish.
METHOLODOGY
Classes will be held, for the most part, through practical workshops and seminars,
in which the participation and involvement of the attendees will be fundamental.
Attendees will follow methodological strategies that promote the assimilation
of information, especially the exchange of knowledge and skills that they have
gathered from their professional experience.
